Alison (she/they) is an artist in Kansas City, MO. She received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and has since integrated her creative practice into a social practice as a teaching artist, counselor, and restorative justice practitioner within arts-based community programs, mental health agencies, and public schools throughout Kansas City, Portland, and Chicago.

As a recipient of the New Artists Society scholarship, Alison completed her MA in Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a psychotherapist invested in the soul work of trauma recovery.

Embodying the roles of artist, psychotherapist, and organizer, Alison is interested in the wisdom that germinates at the confluence of these life practices. Her work is an inquiry into these learnings and endeavors to evoke shared wisdom between spiritual, political, and ecological aliveness.
