In Celtic tradition, winter is a time when the veil between the temporal and eternal is thin. Often referred to as a “thin veil”, the boundary between the earthly realm and spiritual otherworld is slender, more easeful for our communication with ancestors and spirits. I look for my loved ones around me more this time of year, and I found my grandmother in the copperhead snake.
